Dr. Crumpton, rather than informing his patients of the treatments they need, starts the relationship by listening and fully understanding their perspective and what they hope to achieve. He then discusses all the options that could be implemented to achieve their individual goals. Dr. Crumpton has been proudly serving the community of Trophy Club for more than two decades and looks forward to welcoming new patients to his state-of-the-art, elegant dental practice, SmileRenu, where they will experience outstanding, personalized patient care – and life-changing outcomes. Beyond his impressive talents in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Crumpton has equipped his office with the most advanced dental technologies and deeply believes his patients deserve access to the best of what modern dentistry has to offer.

Education – the Journey to Excellence

Dr. Crumpton received his undergraduate degree from West Texas State before advancing his education through enrollment at Baylor College of Dentistry. After graduating with his dental degree, he moved to southern New Mexico, but within two months, he knew that he must return to his home state of Texas. In 1995, he arrived at Trophy Club, where he built his new dental office from the ground up.

Background and History

At age 18, Dr. Crumpton lost a front tooth in a work accident. This was in the early days of dental implant technology, and his dentist at the time chose to learn how to place dental implants, and Dr. Crumpton was his very first patient.

This experience was the inception of his lifelong interest in the field of dentistry. He feels that he had the good fortune in his early years to be cared for by dentists who were exceptionally kind and caring, which fostered an interest in dentistry as a career.

Throughout his career as a dentist, Dr. Crumpton has focused on being as educated as possible. To stay abreast of the latest developments in dentistry, he has made it a practice to complete two to three times the required continuing education classes required by the state. He has attended a range of courses at prestigious institutions such as UT San Antonio, the Pikos Institute, Lamar Dental Implant Training, and the Kois Center. Along the way, he earned the honor of being a Gold Provider of Invisalign.

Dr. Crumpton wants his patients to experience the best in dentistry and has equipped his office with the latest technologies, including CEREC, for single dental visit porcelain crowns produced in-office. He became so successful creating and installing CEREC crowns that the company hired him to train other dentists on the CEREC system.

On a Personal Note…

Dr. Crumpton and his wife, Anna, have been married for 33 years. He is an avid cyclist who rides 150 miles each week, on average. When enjoying free time at home, he loves to use his Big Green Egg to smoke a wide variety of meats. His hobbies include precision rifle shooting, playing the guitar, and watching classic detective movies.
